ZZZzzzz….huh what?

There’s nothing like a bit of a hiatus from blog posting to clear your mind. I’ve been spending my waking hours getting used to the hackintosh and making music with Logic (vs Cubase and ProTools). I can’t say enough good things about Logic…makes GarageBand look like a balloon toy. Yeah, it has some shortcomings, but I think that’s just part of my own switch. The integration with my M-Audio O2 and Korg PadKontrol is seamless, and I have slightly lower latency on my Firewrie 1814 as well. I’ve started putting together new tracks for a new record, which will be somewhat of a departure from Four Years. I’ve been playing a lot with pedals and routing on my turntables, as well as looping unconventional sounds into beats….Ikea pen holders, computer cases as bass drums, etc….

In the meantime, check out this chic…i dare you to listen to this song and NOT have it stuck in your head the rest of the day. I’ll be seeing her at Great Scott in Allston in a couple of weeks. Should be neat to watch. If you like Peter Bjorn and John, you’ll dig Theresa Andersson.
