Let the rambling begin: I love this picture Out in San Jose again this week. Lucky me, getting to miss all the snow. I feel really guilty. For some odd reason I’m listening to a lot of Monolake recently. I think I’m turning into Paul Nickerson. I heard they’re going to be charging Saddam Hussein with criminal beard growth. I want a 15″ 1.25 GHz Apple Powerbook for Christmas.

So I was able to dig myself into my house after returning from a weekend wedding in NYC, and what do I find but George Clinton has been arrested. Doesn’t he know that crackpipes are supposed to stay in the glove compartment at rest stops? The snow is the big story these days…we got about 26″ in my front yard, but about 5.5 feet plowed at the end of the driveway. Thank God for the 8HP Tecumseh engine snowblower sitting patiently in the garage. I’m heading to the Paradise tonight for the big WFNX shindig. Hope I can find a place to park. Survived the holiday. Nuff said. Now the gift buying needs to happen. I think it’s going to be a very Amazon.com Christmas… I just heard on the radio (96.9) that Chris Lawless of Medford died in a car crash this weekend. I went to high school with him and worked with him for a while at the Big Easy downtown. Apparently he was thrown from a truck when he was hit by a drunk driver. What a waste. Gonna go see Phish tomorrow night at the Fleet Center (soon to be Bank of America Center). Should be a decent show…it’s their 20th anniversary, and we have great seats. Next week is big for live music too…I’m going to the Alter-Nativity (put on by FNX) on Tuesday night so I can get some video footage of Loveless. Then on Thursday night, I’m going to see Seal at Avalon. I can’t wait for that show… Maybe a show Wednesday night? Who knows…
